Rocco had spent several weeks with his littermates in woodchips and he has been one itchy fellow. With a minimum of swearwords and accusations Doddy and I bathed Rocco in some oatmeal shampoo and i think he's feeling much better.
Also, Rocco is a tad more understandable and has told us his full name:
Roccheaux Raoul Elliott Hohman, Jr.
Hey, I don't make these things up- speak to the voices in my head.
Oodles of thanks to every basset's godmother Dawn for reminding us how the hell to take care of a puppy. I think Rickey picked a dandy one for us, still I was wondering what I had gotten myself into when I found him chewing on the stone fireplace mantel. Dodson has hidden his inventory of Gucci and Ferragamo shoes.
