an ongoing tribute to quite a little guy who was here for a short amount of time but forever changed my life. he was an angel sent to show me how to live, laugh, and love. If there is a heaven, he is the first person I hope I see when I get there. his little sister is there to keep him in line and to possibly snag something to eat off of a tabletop.
She is looking for a FEMALE ORIENTED household. Dare I say it my age. Men at this moment in life wig her out. She is gentle and sweet and needs a very safe environment. She is (almost) ready to be separated from her last pup. The pup is good to go now. She will grow up to be a very loving and loyal dog. She is darn adorable- eight weeks old, knows her name, socialized, kind of understands the potty training thing, loves people and dogs. We're hoping someone sees her on this blog and adopts her through Basset Rescue Network at 661 269 2682. She is a tr-color even though most of her body is mahogany and white her tail has lots of black in it. She is a very happy robust little girl.
our Basset rescue organization is overwhelmed with dogs and Dodson and I have volunteered to foster a beautiful little one or two year old girl named Cinch who has been overbred and poorly nourished. Oh, and she's had most of her litter yanked away from her, only two girls remain. Six weeks old. fed kibbles and bits, which is cancer in a bag. living in squalor with dead rattlesnakes laying around. and no, I am not describing a staff meeting at the William Morris agency.
Bongo and Sugar's house is going to be these three dogs home for the next month to two months. They have been fed (goat's milk and Candidae kibble) and fed purified water. Everyone is resting peacefully in the guest room, which will be theirs. Within a coupla days they'll be in great shape.
photos tomorrow. doctor tomorrow.
clarification: the photos below posted last friday are NOT OF Cinch or her babies- more on that which you were to PAY NO ATTENTION later, but I think that's going to have to wait about four weeks or so.....
for you to pay super duper duper DUPER close attention to these two photos for any particular reason. Do not notice any similarities between any stunningly handsome young man currently residing in our home and ANYONE in these photos. I'm not showing them to you for any IMPORTANT REASON. For Christ's sake, DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK ON THESE IMAGES!!!! and you thought this had gotten totally stale
to distract you while you gaze lovingly at the above photos, get aloada the "new Joan Crawford"- funny, it looks like the "hagged out Joan Crawford" to mesomeone found Danorama's fantastic mix, he had to remove the others. Watch this while it lasts. the vid quality is not good.all boozed upall cranked upall Veda'd upnight gallery, in four parts
Dodson and Bob love life with their three dogs Lanaynez, Rocco and Romeo. All of us love Bongo, the goodest of all the good boys, who is waiting patiently (or not) for all of us at the Rainbow bridge. He is not alone-his sister Sugar rules his roost and our boy Rickey is there with them, too. We miss them alot, everyday. We like yards and flowers and ponds and movies and music and most of all dogs. And having fun together.
