thursday morning action

Pancho came to stay for the day

His family dropped him off for a dayvisit and i think Rocco has a mancrush on him;as you will soon see this is endless, let's see how long you can put up with it with the sound on. Don't feel sorry for Pancho, by the end of the day he had proclaimed himself King of all that is rawhide. He exhausted Rocco by the end of the day, Roccy slept like a log next to me all night. Romey kept more to himself than Rocco and Lana was exhausted from hating Pancho so vigorously.

I went to a great wedding in Mexico for three days and though I had a wonderful time I was very sad to be away from my family. This, for me, is what it is all about.

Breaking News: We Win Grand Prize at Burbank Kennel Show

This is thirteen month old Scooby Doo, who until this morning has lived with our breeder Heather in Fallbrook. He is Rocco's littermate, one of eight. He is a champion in several dog shows. Today, he has retired and come to live with us forever and ever. We're all really excited. Here you see that though beautiful he is not exactly a runway model.

One thing: most likely not going to call him Scooby Doo. Gonna ease him out of it.

Gonna try: "Romeo".

They love each other already. Lana included.

Lana and Roccy went to a party last night across the street; they were the only dogs wandering around the party, the owner's dogs were penned up. Everyone was a perfect gentleman and lady. Lana's front foot is bothering her alot because she's been walking too much on too many rough rocks. We got a product called Muttluks, let's see if she'll wear them. Anyway, here's a bunch of bassets having a party of their own-

Aunt Dawn and Aunt Carol were here too, Cinch went home with them. She had never had any contact with me and just as she was leaving she let me pet her and give her a hug. Sweet litle girl. I hope she finds some peace. Lana is thrilled to have her home back with just her little brother.

She is darn adorable- eight weeks old, knows her name, socialized, kind of understands the potty training thing, loves people and dogs.
